大学英语教研室承担着全校全日制本科阶段及成教安博app登录入口正规渠道安博app登录入口正规渠道的基础英语课程的教学工作。 对照阅读教研室现有教师12名，其中副教授1名，讲师11名。具有博士学位者1人，硕士学位者11人。
我们开设了通用英语、通用学术英语、通识英语等多维课程。 同类内容坚持为提高安博app登录入口正规渠道英语综合应用能力、学术英语交流能力、跨文化交际能力，“以安博app登录入口正规渠道为安博app登录入口正规渠道”、“以学科内容为基础”、“以安博app登录入口正规渠道成果为导向”的教学方法，采用形成性评价与总结性评价相结合的评价考核方式，取得了良好的教学效果。教师们积极参与科研工作和教学改革，科研成果颇丰。发表论文数篇，完成译著、辞典、教材等达数百万字。
The College English Teaching and Research Section
The faculty of the College English Teaching and Research Section is committed to the teaching of College English courses catering to all undergraduates of Shanghai University of TCM, as well as part-time students from the College of Adult Education. There are 21 faculty members, including 1 professor, 3 associate professors and 17 lecturers. Among them, two teachers have a doctor’s degree with another one in pursuit of it; eighteen teachers have a master’s degree. In addition, 2 foreign teachers are hired.
In order to enhance students’ ability to use English generally, academically, and interculturally, we have established a multi-dimensional curriculum including the three parts of English for General Purposes, English for General Academic Purposes, and Common Core English Courses. Guided by student-centered, content-based and outcome-oriented teaching methods, following the combination of formative and summative evaluation, we have achieved great teaching effects. All teachers devote themselves to teaching reform & research, resulting in papers, translation work, dictionaries and textbooks, adding up to millions of words already published.
