WesternPharmaceutical Regimes and Cultures is a course that introduces thedevelopment of Western drugs, the history of medicinal chemistry,drug regulations and social development. While directing attention tothe pharmaceutical culture of Western countries, it also focuses onthe cultivation of English application skills in the field ofpharmacy and meets the needs of students for multicultural knowledgeand cross-cultural communication in professional fields. This courseis an important part of the process of cultivating TCM talents withinternational vision and extensive international knowledge. Thiscourse will be taught in 9 lectures, 28 hours in total. Students willlearn the core content of the course through reading andcomprehending English texts of different genres related to the topicsof the course, along with translation, listening and writingexercises to improve their language skills.
